Why We Exist:

The Gap: While Canadians want to see the impact of their contributions, the stories of that impact are isolated, and locked away in individual NGO reports, government documents, or dense data that fails to connect with the public.

Our Solution: We bridge that gap. We are the singular platform dedicated to finding, synthesizing, and powerfully telling the human stories behind Canada’s global development work. We move these essential narratives from isolated reports into the public conversation, making impact visible, understandable, and meaningful for everyone.

Our Focus

We address five critical gaps in how development stories are currently told:

  • From Activity to Impact: We go beyond reporting on funds spent or activities completed to show the tangible, human outcomes—how projects change lives in communities.

  • Centering Local Voices: We ensure stories are told by and with communities, not just about them, providing authentic perspective and respecting local agency.

  • Embracing Honest Learning: We explore the full complexity of development work, sharing lessons from both successes and setbacks to foster a smarter dialogue.

  • Connecting Canadians: We bridge the distance between Canadian support and on-the-ground results, making global issues relatable and showing the human face of Canada’s role.
